Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative - DREAM SCHEDULE, NO EVENINGS, NO WEEKENDS!Veterinary Surgical Centers | Gaithersburg, MDFull-time | Monday through Thursday, 8am to 6pm | No weekendsPay: $23 to $25 per hour based on skills and experience Every great visit starts at the front desk. Learn more at: Veterinary Surgical Centers What you’ll do Greet clients and their pets at the front desk and help them feel comfortable from the moment they arrive Answer a multi-line phone system with a friendly, professional, and efficient approach Schedule and confirm appointments, follow up on missed visits, and enter new client information accurately Keep clients updated on wait times and delays Answer basic questions about pet care and routine procedures Process invoices and payments, including cash, credit card, Scratchpay, and CareCredit Relay phone, email, and fax messages promptly and keep client records up to date Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and running smoothly using daily checklists What you bring High school diploma or equivalent Customer service, receptionist, or front desk experience required, ideally in a veterinary, medical, or dental office Comfort with computers, scheduling software, and handling payments A warm, caring presence and strong organization skills when the day gets busy What we offer 4-day work week, Monday through Thursday, with no weekends or evenings Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with a company match up to 4% after 6 months Generous paid time off Continuing education allowance and professional development support Mental health resources Company paid bonding leave or applicable state provided bonding leave Pet perks: discounts on veterinary services and products, reference lab testing, and Purina pet foods, plus preferred rates on pet insurance Life in GaithersburgGaithersburg combines suburban comfort with easy access to Washington, D.C., including great parks, a lively downtown, and convenient MARC and Metro access.
