Veterinary Assistant

Our team is growing, and we are looking for a professional and hard-working individual to join us as a Veterinary Assistant! This is the perfect opportunity for someone beginning their career in the veterinary field, as they will work closely under the supervision of a Veterinarian or Veterinary Technician. Mill Brook Animal Clinic in Arlington, MA is a full-service veterinary medical facility. Our team provides cutting edge veterinary medical care in everything from wellness exams and vaccines to advanced diagnostics and complex surgical procedures. It is our mission to provide all pets we see with the highest quality care. As the title suggests, Vet Assistants will have the ability to ‘assist’ in a variety of different aspects of patient visits, including gaining hands-on experience during exams, learning how to run in-house lab work, and more. This position will be mentored very closely by senior team members as we place a high value on the importance of mentorship and teamwork. Requirements: At least one year experience in the veterinary field is preferred. All employees must be able to lift 50 pounds, as well as stand/walk/kneel for long periods of time.
