Requirements
We are working on behalf of a well established, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Wakefield, MA that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its experienced team. This is a busy, multi-doctor practice operating out of a modern facility that was designed with patient comfort in mind, where dogs are kept separate from other species across the lobby, exam rooms, and treatment areas, and calming music plays throughout. The caseload is varied and genuinely interesting, with a strong mix of canine and feline work alongside the chance to get hands on with exotics and pocket pets, so a doctor with good exotics experience would be a great fit. You would be joining a large and capable team of doctors, credentialed technicians, assistants, and client service staff, most of whom are Fear Free certified. The hospital is committed to modern, low stress medicine, with hands-free radiology now at ninety percent and a real focus on making every visit a good experience for pets and their people. Doctors work a four-day week with rotating opening, closing, and weekend shifts. Whether you are an experienced DVM or a newer graduate, you will find real support here, including dedicated mentorship for those earlier in their careers and the opportunity to take part in a robust clinical studies program. This practice takes both medicine and team wellbeing seriously, and it backs that up with a comprehensive benefits package.
