Responsibilities Include (But Are Not Limited To): - Greeting patients/owners and obtaining histories. - Recording vitals and assisting with treatment plans. - Assisting with examinations and outpatient procedures. - Safe restraint of small animals. - Providing compassionate care to hospitalized and surgical patients. - Preparing samples for labs and assisting with in-house labs. - Sterilizing instruments and preparing medications. - Recognizing medical emergencies and illnesses. - Maintaining a hospitable environment and basic housekeeping. - Entering patient information into software. - Participating in client education and care. Preferred Experience and Skills: - Previous veterinary clinic experience preferred. - Certified Veterinary Assistant or completion of a Veterinary Assistant Program preferred. - Availability to work weekdays and rotating weekends. - Comfortable with computers and online tools. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently. - Strong teamwork and communication skills. - Passion for pet care and well-being.
