Veterinarian Medical Director – South Shore, MA - #9587 We are seeking a dedicated Medical Director to lead our veterinary team and help shape the standard of care within our hospital. In this role, you’ll be responsible for establishing and maintaining medical quality across all doctors, while serving as a mentor and role model for associate veterinarians and support staff. This position calls for strong leadership, sound clinical judgment, and a positive, team-focused attitude. As Medical Director, you’ll play a key role in both patient care and hospital leadership. You’ll collaborate with the management team to support the hospital’s financial performance, guide overall strategy, and drive continued growth and success. In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you’ll also practice as a staff veterinarian, providing high-quality care to patients. Our hospital is supported by a collaborative team of seven doctors, each working alongside 1.5–2 veterinary assistants or technicians, allowing you to focus on delivering excellent medicine with strong clinical support. Salary: $150,000–$180,000 About the Hospital Our newly renovated hospital is equipped with individual surgery and dental suites, dental x-ray, and laser & cautery for soft tissue procedures. We have a wonderful patient mix of dogs, cats, reptiles, avian & small mammals, exotics, and even some small farm animals like chickens and potbellied pigs.
