Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Responsibilities As a Veterinary Receptionist / Client Concierge, you will: Welcome clients and pets while providing a warm, personalized experience throughout their visit Serve as a primary point of contact for General Practice clients from arrival through discharge Coordinate appointments including consultations, rechecks, procedures, and drop-offs Support multi-department scheduling when needed Admit and discharge patients while maintaining accurate client and patient records Communicate with clients regarding appointments, treatment updates, estimates, follow-up care, and next steps Review upcoming appointments to ensure records and documentation are complete before the visit Process payments, invoices, estimates, and assist with billing-related questions Coordinate with doctors and hospital departments to ensure a seamless client and patient experience Address client questions and concerns with professionalism, compassion, and excellent customer service What We’re Looking For Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist, Veterinary Client Service Representative, Medical Receptionist, Medical Secretary, or in a customer-facing healthcare role preferred Strong communication and client service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy veterinary hospital setting Comfortable handling scheduling, medical records, and financial transactions with accuracy Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented approach Strong attention to detail and follow-through Fluent English speaking and reading skills required About Bulger Veterinary Hospital Bulger Veterinary Hospital is a multi-specialty and emergency veterinary hospital serving pets and families throughout Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
