Practice Overview

Duxbury Animal Hospital is an independently-owned small animal general practice located on the seashore south of Boston. Originally founded in 1965, Dr. Dan Hebert purchased the hospital in 2013 and created the modern practice it is today. It has been and remains an AAHA-accredited hospital that sees its constant evaluation as a means by which to always seek improvement. Our facilities underwent a large renovation and expansion that was completed in 2022. We now operate out of 8,000 square feet of clinical and professional space. The community was closely involved in this process and appreciates the efforts made to integrate our building into the beautiful surroundings of our historic town.

Job Description

We are a family-first practice that knows that things like soccer games and sick children are an important part of our lives. We are closed on weekends and our team members support each other when circumstances require co-workers to need personal time. We are fortunate to have two full-service referral hospitals and multiple urgent care facilities within a 20-minute radius. So, when your shift is over, that time can be dedicated to you and yours. We see continuing education as one of the most important aspects of a veterinary career. Not only does it keep our team on the cutting edge of modern medicine, but it is a strong reminder for all team members as to why we love our jobs. As such, we have extremely competitive continuing education support for all levels of our team.
