Requirements
We are partnering with a forward-thinking small animal practice in Cambridge, MA that is looking to add a Relief Veterinarian to its general practice rota. This is a membership-based hospital that brings human healthcare standards to veterinary medicine, with a model designed to work better for pets, pet parents, and doctors alike. Members get high quality care, round the clock telemedicine, and clear, upfront pricing, so cost conversations in the exam room are refreshingly simple. The hospital itself was designed with input from animal behavior experts, and the whole team takes a calm, hospitality-first approach to every visit. Relief shifts are available Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm and Saturday from 9am to 5pm, and you can choose the days that fit your life. You will see patients in 30-minute slots, with a full hour for lunch and a separate hour for records and callbacks built into each day. The team is fully staffed, and relief doctors are not asked to do any surgery. You will have a second doctor on site on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and on other days you will lead the floor with an experienced support team around you.
