Requirements
Veterinary Assistant Buzzards Bay Veterinary Associates - Buzzards Bay, MA Pay range: $15-18/hr DoE Buzzards Bay Veterinary Associates is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team. We’re a busy veterinary practice with a supportive, close-knit team and a genuine commitment to taking great care of our patients and the people who love them. We take our medicine seriously, but we also believe you can have a little fun while doing it. After all, veterinary medicine is hard enough without making everyone miserable along the way. We’re looking for someone with previous veterinary experience who is comfortable working in a busy hospital and understands the ins and outs of veterinary patient care. We’re happy to help the right person continue developing their skills, so you don’t have to know everything on day one. You just need to be willing to learn, pitch in, and keep growing. As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll work alongside our doctors and technicians to help keep the hospital running smoothly. You’ll assist with appointments and procedures, help with patient handling and restraint, prepare and clean treatment areas, assist with diagnostics and treatments, and provide plenty of the hands-on care our patients need throughout the day. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, team-oriented, and able to stay calm when things get busy. Someone who sees a teammate struggling and jumps in to help rather than pretending they suddenly became very interested in organizing the supply cabinet would be especially welcome. Most importantly, we want someone who cares about doing a good job and wants to be part of a team that supports one another. If you enjoy veterinary medicine, like learning new things, and don't mind occasionally going home covered in fur, slobber, or both, you may fit in very nicely here.
