Burlington Animal Clinic is located in Burlington, MA. We are open six days a week for wellness and sick appointments. To better serve clients, we have evening appointments available one night a week, and also offer house call services. We primarily treat dogs and cats; however, we are willing to see the occasional pocket pet (hamster, guinea pig, turtle, etc.) as well. We are equipped for surgery, as well as routine appointments. The clinic has modern equipment, including a brand-new dental machine, digital radiology, anesthetic monitoring equipment, and fluid pumps. The clinic has been in operation since 1964, and is currently owned and operated by Dr. Kathleen Hanson. Our goal is to provide quality care and excellent client education. The best way to maintain your pet's health is to make sure that you, the pet owner, are aware of things to watch for at home. We look forward to working with you and your pet.

Burlington Animal Clinic, located on Route 3A in Burlington, MA is looking for a full time veterinary technician/assistant. BAC is a small clinic with a friendly, light-hearted atmosphere. We currently have an opportunity available for a motivated veterinary technician or assistant. Preference will be given to Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVT) with experience, but experienced uncertified technicians please apply! We strive to foster a learning environment for all staff members and respect our employee’s work/home balance. No after hours commitment is required. Our clientele includes many long term clients and we often see several generations of clients and their pets. Creating strong relationships with our clients and patients is a huge part of this role. Our clinic cat Fluffy is always available for a cuddle and pets if you are having a hard day. Candidates must be people-oriented and have one year of animal experience. Acceptable experience includes veterinary clinics, dog day cares, grooming salons, kennel work, shelters etc. Owning a pet does NOT count as experience. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds. Preference will be given to candidates with veterinary technician experience (certified or uncertified). Job responsibilities include: client communication, venipuncture, radiology, taking histories on patients, patient restraint, preparing vaccines, and answering the phones. There is the opportunity to learn anesthetic monitoring for interested applicants.We are willing to train the right candidate. Hours needed are: Mondays 8:15-5:15; Wednesdays 10:00-7:00; Thursdays 8:15-5:15; Fridays 8:15-5:15; Saturdays 8:15-noon (every third week). Off on Tuesdays.
