Boston Veterinary Clinic is a fast-paced and progressive multi-doctor practice looking for a top-notch surgical technician to join our team! As we are a new and rapidly-expanding company, this employment opportunity carries the potential for advancement. Our clinics are state-of-the-art with Surgivet monitoring (EtCO2, O2 sat, ECG, BP, body temperature, etc.), digital dental and general radiology, Sevoflurane, laser scalpel, etc. We encourage career-minded technicians to submit their resumes and join Boston Veterinary Clinic, where we pride ourselves on being our clients’ “other family doctor”. A successful candidate for our Technician position will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and will possess the following skills: Drug calculation, phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, strong client communication and education, knowledge of all routinely used medications, preventatives and vaccines, monitoring of sedated patients and basic wound care. Knowledge of Fear Free practices a plus, but training will be provided as needed. A general hourly rate for this position is $20-25 hourly, and will be determined based on experience. We are currently looking to hire multiple full-time and part-time technicians.
