Veterinarian Medical Director – Boston, MA - #9504 A well-established small animal hospital in the North Shore area of Boston is seeking a Veterinarian Medical Director with an opportunity for co-ownership if desired! This is a unique opportunity to step into a thriving, community-focused practice with a loyal client base while building equity and shaping the hospital’s future. In this role, you’ll serve as the lead veterinarian and medical authority, working a full clinical schedule while guiding medical standards, equipment, and protocols. You’ll oversee a small team of veterinarians and technicians, partnering with a practice manager and ownership group on operations. The culture is supportive and relationship-driven, built on “empathetic accountability”— open communication, mutual respect, and shared responsibility without micromanagement. The hospital is deeply rooted in the community and committed to maintaining that family-like feel while improving efficiency and workflow.
