Requirements
A modern companion animal hospital in Wichita, KS is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its friendly team! This is a wonderful opportunity to join a collaborative, relationship-focused practice in West Wichita, known for its loyal client base and its commitment to personalized, compassionate care. Experienced veterinarians and new graduates are equally welcome, with a structured mentorship program in place to build your clinical confidence and support your long-term growth. The hospital operates from a spacious 5,500 sq. ft. modern facility equipped with radiography, ultrasound, laboratory diagnostics, and Class IV laser therapy. The caseload is varied and rewarding, covering wellness and preventive care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, diagnostics, geriatric care, nutritional counselling, and end-of-life care, with grooming and boarding also offered on site. You’ll be joining a supportive 4-doctor team with shared interests across internal medicine, dentistry, and surgery. The doctors are supported by a capable and high-functioning team of certified technicians, assistants, and a wonderful practice manager, so you can focus on practicing great medicine. The clinic prioritizes a strong work life balance with thoughtful scheduling and respect for your time. You can expect a consistent and predictable 4-day work week with no after-hours duties, and Saturday mornings are shared on a rotation between the doctors.
