Requirements
We are helping a forward-thinking veterinary group expand its relief team at a pet care center in Nora, a neighborhood on the north side of Indianapolis, IN. This is ongoing relief work with no set start or end date, giving you a reliable source of shifts for as long as you want them. The group provides general practice and daytime urgent care, with a real focus on quality medicine and a friendly, connected experience for pets, pet parents, and the veterinary team. You stay in charge of your calendar. Shifts are posted four to six months in advance, and you simply request the dates and location you prefer, then receive confirmation well before the day. Choose between full and half day shifts, seven days a week. Centers are open 8:00am to 6:00pm, so you will never work late nights or be on-call. Each shift comes with the support of highly skilled veterinary nurses, and everyone on the team is Fear Free certified and uses low-stress handling. A virtual care team acts as an extension of the on-site staff, managing incoming calls, scheduling, medical records, and call backs, and is always on hand to collaborate on cases. The result is a relief shift where you can concentrate on good medicine. Surgery is entirely optional. If you would like to operate, work a few shifts to get familiar with the team and workflow, and after a short conversation you can be added to the surgery schedule. Admin is kept light: email your invoice within 7 days of the shift and you will be paid on Net 15 terms.
