Functioning as a full-service veterinary facility, Tender Care Animal Hospital of Peoria has two doctors, five examination rooms, an intensive care unit (ICU), a surgical suite, specialty and radiology suite, on-site pharmacy, a dental station, and an isolation and treatment room. Our on-site laboratory allows for faster diagnosis of your pet's condition. Digital radiology and ultrasound allow our doctors to correctly diagnosis your pet's condition. Wellness plans are available for all stages of life including but not limited to geriatric screening.

Job Description

Tender Care Animal Hospital in Peoria, Illinois, is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment. Schedule and Compensation Compensation: $16-$18 per hour Full-time position with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday. Minimum Qualifications and Skill Set: 1-3+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred Ability to manage a multi-line phone system while assisting in-person clients Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially EzyVet, preferred Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations Strong organizational and time management skills Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented during busy periods Why Choose Tender Care Animal Hospital?
