Ever since we opened our doors in Herrin in 1975, Central Hospital For Animals has continued its tradition of providing the best veterinary care possible throughout the years! With the help of our dedicated and skilled staff, we try to ensure the best possible experience for all pets during their visit. Over the years, satellite clinics were added to neighboring towns in Carbondale, Marion, and Harrisburg. All hospitals contain a full laboratory and pharmacy and the main facility in Herrin provides digital radiography, ultrasound, therapy laser and surgical facilities complete with CO2 laser and dentistry. Most diagnostic and treatment procedures are completed within the hospital, although we also rely on other laboratories as needed.
Our facility is stocked with the latest innovations in animal health so we can deliver full laboratory and pharmacy service in-house. Central Hospital for Animals performs everything with the goal of giving the pets of Marion happy, healthy lives! Hours of operation: Monday: 8 AM - 5 PM Tuesday: 8 AM - 12PM Weds - Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM Closed Weekends

Hospital Hours Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Saturday–Sunday: Closed Learn more about us here: Till-Newell Animal Hospital Job Description Job duties include, but are not limited to: Maintain the visual appeal or the hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients and process payments. Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes. Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases. Qualifications We’re looking for: Experienced Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator Highly organized and possess computer skills Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.
