​Associate Veterinarian – Kankakee, IL Salary: $110,000–$120,000 USD (negotiable based on experience) Schedule: Full-time (4 set weekdays + rotating half-day Saturday) or part-time options Sign-On Bonus: Available for experienced veterinarians About the Role A leading AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in Kankakee, IL is seeking a passionate Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative team. This role offers mentorship for students and new graduates as well as robust support for experienced veterinarians seeking a signing bonus. Candidates will provide high-quality medical care, enhance patient outcomes, and contribute to a compassionate client experience in a state-of-the-art facility. About the Practice The hospital is the only AAHA-accredited clinic in the county and recognized as a Gold Level Feline Friendly Practice by the AAFP. The facility emphasizes Fear Free and Low Stress handling techniques, with equipment and services including: Ultrasound, cold laser therapy, and advanced diagnostics Rehabilitation services and wellness plans Grooming and boarding facilities Strong community involvement, including partnerships with local shelters The practice serves Kankakee and surrounding areas, offering a blend of urban amenities and countryside serenity, with a supportive team of experienced veterinarians and skilled support staff.
