Overview
Ever since we opened our doors in Herrin in 1975, Central Hospital For Animals has continued its tradition of providing the best veterinary care possible throughout the years! With the help of our dedicated and skilled staff, we try to ensure the best possible experience for all pets during their visit. Over the years, satellite clinics were added to neighboring towns in Carbondale, Marion, and Harrisburg. All hospitals contain a full laboratory and pharmacy and the main facility in Herrin provides digital radiography, ultrasound, therapy laser and surgical facilities complete with CO2 laser and dentistry. Most diagnostic and treatment procedures are completed within the hospital, although we also rely on other laboratories as needed.
Central Hospital for Animals’ Herrin location is the heart of comprehensive medical care in southern Illinois. We utilize the latest equipment, providing digital radiology, ultrasound, CO2 laser, therapy laser, and twenty-four-hour emergency service. We are the leading referral site for orthopedic and joint repair, along with more involved surgeries; this enables us to get our clients the help they need efficiently.
