Requirements
Fox Animal Hospital is looking to add a compassionate, dedicated, full-time Veterinary Technician to our growing team! We are an AAHA accredited, small animal practice that focuses on providing the highest quality care to our patients, while creating lasting client relationships. We are looking for a team player who shares our same philosophy of unmatched client service and patient care. Our family-friendly facility is well equipped with digital radiography, digital dental radiography, therapeutic laser, and a full in-house laboratory and pharmacy. Our well seasoned and experienced team is dedicated to our patients, clients, and community. We are located in Evanston, a Northshore Chicago suburb, populated with dedicated pet owners. Established in 1998, Fox Animal Hospital has a client orientated reputation, and emphasizes personalized, compassionate care for every patient. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting DVM in exam rooms History gathering Restraining patients Venipuncture IV catheter placement Radiology positioning and proper exposure techniques Preparation and reading of cytologies In-house lab testing Urinalysis sediment interpretation Patient surgical preparation Anesthetic monitoring Dental cleanings Recovery and release surgical patients.
