We are looking for a Medical Director to be part of an ever growing company that strives to strengthen the human-animal bond through better pet care. Focused on primary & urgent care, their stunning hospitals are designed with pets and people in mind: warm, friendly, and highly sniffable! The hospitals design is balanced with a strong focus on technology, all built in-house, which means they can easily innovate their systems to improve the veterinary team, pet, and client experience! The Opportunity The Veterinary Medical Director will lead the clinic’s medical operations. You will ensure patients receive a high standard of care and clinic team members work collaboratively in a positive workplace environment. You should be client-oriented, an excellent communicator, and a natural mentor/leader with a high focus for you and your team to provide high quality medicine. About You • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent. • To hold or have Illinois state veterinary board license which MUST be in good standing. • A passionate veterinarian/leader with a minimum of 3 years' experience. • Previous leadership experience. • A passion to provide a superior veterinary experience for both patients and employees. • A good worth ethic and keen to advance their career • Someone who takes pride in their work, and strives to provide the best outcome to their patients and their owners. • The ability to multi-task with a high degree of integrity and accountability. • A collaborative mindset & desire to elevate others.
