Job Description

Country View Veterinary Clinic and Beaumont Animal Clinic are seeking a reliable, skilled, and hardworking Handy Person to assist, as needed, with facility maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects across our veterinary hospitals. This is an as-needed opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and can help keep our facilities running smoothly. Responsibilities: Perform general building and facility maintenance. Assist with minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall repairs. Complete painting, patching, and touch-up work. Install shelves, fixtures, signs, and equipment. Assist with furniture assembly and basic repairs. Perform yard and exterior maintenance. Troubleshoot maintenance concerns and assist with improvement projects. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Work collaboratively with hospital teams to address facility needs. Schedule and compensation: Compensation: $20-$25 per hour, for each hour worked This is a flexible position, with an as-needed schedule and availability needed Monday-Sunday. Your qualifications: 3+ years of experience in facility maintenance, construction, remodeling, or a related field preferred General repair and maintenance skills, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall work Ability to troubleshoot maintenance concerns and complete improvement projects Ability to work independently and safely Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Professional, respectful, and comfortable working in a veterinary hospital environment Able to provide basic tools, if possible Why choose us?
