Benewah Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our collaborative, community-focused team in beautiful St. Maries, Idaho. If you're looking for a practice where you can enjoy surgery, practice high-quality medicine, and have the option to incorporate large animal work without it being required, we'd love to connect. About the Practice • Well-established mixed animal practice with a loyal, multi-generational client base • Small animal-focused position with the opportunity to see large animals and participate in farm calls if desired • Experienced, supportive team that values collaboration and mentorship • Fully equipped with in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, ultrasound, and surgical capabilities • Diverse caseload offering medical, surgical, and preventative care • No after hours or weekend emergencies What We Offer • Signing bonus and relocation assistance • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance • 401(k) with employer match • Generous CE stipend plus paid CE and PTO • Paid AVMA PLIT, licensure, DEA, and professional membership dues The Role • Full-time Associate DVM • Perform routine soft tissue surgery and enjoy a balanced medical and surgical caseload • Practice primarily small animal medicine, with optional large animal and farm call opportunities • Collaborate with an experienced, supportive team committed to exceptional patient care Ideal Candidate • DVM or equivalent, licensed (or eligible) in Idaho • Comfortable performing routine soft tissue surgery • Passionate about high-quality medicine and client communication • Newer graduates with a solid surgical foundation are encouraged to apply • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset Enjoy the best of North Idaho with easy access to lakes, rivers, hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, and endless outdoor recreation—all while building meaningful relationships in a welcoming rural community.
