Veterinarian – Independent Small Animal Hospital – Spirit Lake, Iowa Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time considered Weekends: Shared Saturday rota (8:00am–12:00pm) Salary: $110,000- 150,000 dependent on experience About the Role: We are representing a well-established independent small animal veterinary hospital in Spirit Lake, Iowa, seeking a Veterinarian to join their dedicated and supportive clinical team. Both full-time and part-time working options are available, offering flexibility alongside a manageable weekend rota. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys first-opinion companion animal practice within a well-equipped hospital setting, working exclusively with dogs and cats. About the Practice: The hospital is fully equipped to support high-quality veterinary medicine and surgery, providing a broad range of in-house diagnostics and treatment options, including: In-house laboratory: Gas anaesthesia Digital x-ray imaging Surgical laser Therapeutic laser Advanced anaesthesia monitoring The clinic is dedicated entirely to canine and feline patients, allowing for focused case management and continuity of care. Key Responsibilities: Conducting consultations and managing medical cases Performing routine and soft tissue surgical procedures Utilising in-house diagnostics and imaging Delivering high standards of patient and client care Working collaboratively with the nursing and support team Participating in the Saturday morning rota About You: Licensed Veterinarian or eligible for licensure in Iowa Confident in general practice medicine and surgery Strong communication and client-care skills Team-focused, compassionate, and professional Open to full-time or part-time working arrangements Why Apply?
