Job Description

We are working on behalf of a well established small animal hospital in Rincon, GA that is looking to add an Associate Veterinarian to its team. This is a busy general practice with a loyal and growing client base, a varied caseload, and a culture built on teamwork and open communication. The hospital is equipped for real medicine, with ultrasound and cold laser therapy on site, so cases can be worked up properly rather than referred out by default. Day to day you would see a mix of soft tissue surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, dermatology, and neurology, supported by an experienced technician team and a leadership group that pays attention to how its associates are doing, not just what they produce. Students and new graduates are actively encouraged to apply and will receive structured, dedicated mentorship. The schedule is full time across weekdays with Saturday mornings, and the hospital is closed on Sundays. Rincon sits about 25 minutes from downtown Savannah, which gives you a quiet, family friendly town with well rated schools and a lower cost of living, while keeping easy access to waterfront dining, the beaches at Tybee Island, and a short drive to Hilton Head. The wider group behind the practice brings the resources of a national network, including an extensive internal CE program, clinical studies opportunities, and a full benefits package, without losing the feel of a local hospital. Key Highlights • Well established hospital with a loyal and growing client base • Varied caseload spanning soft tissue surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, dermatology, and neurology • Modern facility with ultrasound and cold laser therapy on site • Dedicated mentorship for students and new graduates • Collaborative team with a real focus on communication and hospital culture • Supportive leadership invested in the success and well-being of associates • Closed Sundays, with Saturdays limited to mornings only • About 25 minutes from downtown Savannah, with a lower cost of living and quick access to the Georgia coast About You • DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited university • Licensure in good standing in Georgia, or the ability to obtain it • Committed to a high standard of medicine and to the veterinary code of ethics • Enjoys teaching, mentoring, and working as part of a team • Builds trusting, long term relationships with clients and colleagues • New graduates are welcome and will be fully supported Benefits • Base salary negotiable based on experience, skills, and credentials • Eligible for additional variable pay programs • 401k retirement savings plan with company match • Health, dental, and vision insurance, plus fertility and gender affirmation benefits • Paid parental, vacation, and sick leave • Continuing education allowance with paid CE days • Access to an extensive internal CE program and clinical studies opportunities • Mental health and financial well-being resources
