Veterinary Surgeon South Atlanta / Fayette County Area, Georgia Full-Time | Competitive Base + Production | No Negative Accrual A well-established emergency and specialty veterinary hospital in the South Atlanta area is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join its collaborative specialty team. This is an opportunity to practice advanced surgery within a busy referral environment supported by 24/7 emergency services, experienced clinical teams, advanced diagnostics, and strong relationships with referring veterinarians throughout the region. The Opportunity You’ll have the opportunity to manage a diverse surgical caseload while collaborating with emergency doctors, specialists, technicians, and referring veterinarians. The hospital provides the infrastructure and clinical support needed to manage both scheduled and complex surgical cases, including: • Established 24/7 emergency services • Strong referral relationships throughout the surrounding veterinary community • Advanced diagnostic imaging, including CT, digital radiography, and ultrasound • In-house laboratory and pharmacy capabilities • Experienced emergency veterinarians and clinical support staff • Collaborative emergency and specialty medicine • Support for complex and referred surgical cases • Clinical autonomy within a team-oriented environment The hospital is committed to providing surgeons with the resources needed to deliver high-quality surgical care while maintaining strong communication with pet owners and referring veterinarians. Compensation & Schedule A progressive compensation structure is designed to reward both clinical expertise and production. Compensation includes: • Competitive base salary • Additional production earning opportunities • No negative accrual • Compensation based on experience, credentials, and qualifications Flexible scheduling options may include three-, four-, or five-day workweeks depending on the needs of the surgeon and hospital.
