Surgery-Focused Position – Spend the majority of your time in surgical and anesthesia support No Weekends – Predictable weekday schedule supporting work-life balance  Advanced Clinical Exposure – Work closely with experienced DVMs in a high-quality medical setting  Established, High-Performing Practice – Busy small animal hospital with strong community reputation  Backed by Innovetive Petcare – Growth opportunities, resources, and long-term career pathways As part of the Innovetive Petcare network, we offer the close-knit feel of a local practice with the stability, resources, and growth opportunities of a larger organization. 🌐 https://sprayberryanimalhospital.com 📍 2135 Post Oak Tritt Rd, Marietta, GA 30062 What You'll Do as a Licensed Veterinary Technician Surgical & Anesthesia Expertise  Prepare patients for surgery using aseptic and sterile techniques  Induce, monitor, and recover patients under anesthesia with a high level of accuracy and vigilance   Monitor vital parameters and adjust anesthetic protocols as directed   Ensure safe, efficient surgical flow and maintain a sterile surgical suite  Clinical & Technical Skills  Perform phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, radiology, and in-house diagnostics  Administer medications via oral, subcutaneous, and intravenous routes  Accurately document treatments, anesthesia logs, and patient records  Patient Care & Advocacy  Provide attentive monitoring of pre-op and post-op patients  Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition quickly and effectively   Deliver compassionate, low-stress handling and care Collaboration & Communication  Partner closely with veterinarians and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes   Communicate clearly with clients regarding post-operative care and discharge instructions  Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment and surgical environment What We’re Looking For: Active Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in the state of Georgia  Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program Successful completion of the VTNE 2+ years of hands-on clinical experience, with a strong emphasis on surgery and anesthesia   Advanced proficiency in anesthesia monitoring and surgical support  Confidence working independently in a high-volume surgical setting  Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and gold-standard care  Ability to remain calm, focused, and efficient under pressure   Passion for continuous learning and clinical excellence What We Offer Sprayberry Animal Hospital team members enjoy a comprehensive and competitive benefits package through Innovetive Petcare, designed to support your professional growth, financial well-being, and work-life balance.
