Tiger Tails Animal Hospital is seeking an experiencedRegistered Veterinary Technician (RVT)to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment - balancing exam room care, client communication, and hands-on procedural support. We value credentialed technicians for the clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills they bring across all areas of the hospital, helping elevate the quality of medicine, client experience, and patient care. In this position, you will play a key role in both outpatient and procedural workflows, contributing to a consistent, high standard of care throughout the patient visit. Responsibilities include: Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery Assisting in surgery Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy variety in their day, are confident moving between exam room and procedure support, and want to fully utilize their clinical knowledge, technical skillset, and client communication abilities in a collaborative general practice environment. Schedule and compensation: Compensation: $25-30 per hour, for each hour worked This is a flexible, full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday with rotating weekends Full-time Benefits Package*: Bonus package: $2000 based on active, good-standing veterinary technician credentials in the state of Georgia CE allowance: $500-$1,000 based on tenure and credentials Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability Employee Assistance Program 401k with company match Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law Personal pet discount Uniform allowance Fun team events throughout the year! *Part-time team members may be eligible for limited benefits in accordance with company policy and state law Minimum qualifications and skill set: 2+ years of veterinary technician experience Active and good-standing RegisteredVeterinary Technician in the state of Georgia Proficiency in the following skills: Patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery Advanced dentistry, including dental prophylaxis and radiographs Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and cystocentesis Medication administration, including IV/IM injections and drug calculations Laboratory diagnostics, including sample collection and microscope evaluation Radiology, surgical assistance, and aseptic technique **Recent graduates pending VTNE testing and licensure, or out-of-state license-holders who are eligible to transfer a license, are also encouraged to apply Why choose Tiger Tails Animal Hospital?
