Job Description

Are you a feline-focused veterinarian ready to step into a leadership position where you can shape culture, mentor a team, and influence the direction of a growing clinic? I’m working with a progressive, cat-exclusive hospital in Duluth, GA that is seeking a Chief of Staff to lead their newest location. This purpose-built, feline-only clinic operates under Fear Free principles, delivering compassionate, stress-free care in a calm and thoughtfully designed environment. As Chief of Staff, you will play a pivotal role in clinical leadership—guiding medical standards, mentoring associate veterinarians and certified veterinary technicians, and fostering a collaborative, respectful culture centered around high-quality, accessible feline medicine. The hospital is exceptionally well-equipped with Heska Cuattro digital radiography, Midmark digital dental radiography, nitrogen-driven dental units, in-house laboratory capabilities, ICU cages, and on-site radioiodine treatment for hyperthyroidism. Leadership is highly receptive to investing in additional equipment and services aligned with the Chief of Staff’s clinical interests and long-term vision for the practice. You’ll maintain hands-on clinical involvement while also overseeing medical protocols, supporting case development, and driving continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys mentoring, guiding team performance, and ensuring consistent medical excellence—without the burden of after-hours or emergency call. The schedule supports work-life balance with a four-day work week, and compensation includes a competitive salary, profit sharing, and a comprehensive benefits package. This is an opportunity to lead a feline-focused team, influence hospital growth, and practice high-quality medicine in a supportive, forward-thinking environment. Key Highlights: • Chief of Staff leadership role in a feline-exclusive, Fear Free clinic • Four-day work week with no after-hours or on-call • Advanced diagnostics: digital radiography & digital dental radiography • In-house lab, ICU cages & on-site radioiodine treatment • Opportunity to mentor DVMs and certified veterinary technicians • Influence hospital equipment investments and clinical direction • Competitive salary + profit sharing About You: • DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US • You hold (or are eligible for) a licensure in Georgia • Proven clinical experience with strong leadership or mentorship capability • Passionate about feline medicine and maintaining high medical standards • Motivated to develop team culture, efficiency, and long-term growth Benefits: • Competitive compensation package with leadership-level earning potential • Profit sharing opportunities • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) retirement plan • CE allowance + professional dues, PLIT reimbursement & Fear Free certification covered • 3 weeks of paid holidays plus additional time off between Christmas and New Year
