Simmons Veterinary Clinic is a modern and innovative companion animal primary care facility in Downtown Decatur in the Metro Atlanta area. We are looking for a veterinary technician with at least 3-5 years of experience that is excited to help us in appointments, surgery, and dentistry. Job Overview: Communication with pet parents regarding their pet's health status Assisting in routine preventative healthcare appointments Assisting urgent care medical appointments Performing various diagnostic procedures (laboratory, imaging) Filling prescribed medications, including controlled drugs Assisting elective dental and surgical procedures Performing various administrative processes: check-ins, check-outs, scheduling, and phone calls Cleaning and stocking of exam rooms and other medical spaces Our core beliefs are simple truths: - Pets deserve to be handled gently and playfully - People deserve a transparent and pleasant experience at the vet - Staff deserve a creative and supportive workspace You’ll love working for us because every business decision we make equitably accounts for you as much as our clients and pets.
