Wieuca Animal Clinic first opened original door as a donut shop over 40 years ago! Obviously we don’t still make donuts but we do strive to be a happy comfortable environment for our clients and furry patients. Dr. Smith is the current owner of the practice, he purchased the practice in 1991. Since then the clinic has risen to a multi doctor clinic serving Sandy Springs, Buckhead, Brookhaven, and other surrounding Atlanta communities. We focus on providing care for not just our patients but their families as well. Our Chastain Square location offers the same exceptional care and services you know and trust from Wieuca Animal Clinic, but in a quieter, more intimate setting. With the same dedicated team, familiar faces, and expert veterinarians, we’re here to provide comprehensive veterinary care in a second convenient location.

Company Description Wieuca Animal Clinic is a progressive 5 doctor companion animal clinic that has been offering comprehensive medical care to the greater Sandy Springs, GA for generations. The building was originally a donut shop, but obviously we don’t still make donuts, we just enjoy them! Our hospital is proud to be able to offer services such as: vaccines, routine check ups, digital radiology (full body & dental), in-house diagnostics, dentistry, emergency care, and more to provide our patients with the best medical care available. We focus on providing a medical care partnership model, where our clients are actively involved in the care of their pets, and we take lifestyle and budget in mind when partnering with clients to determine the best care for their pets. Sandy Springs is close to all the Atlanta attractions yet is a cozy community offering an alternative to staying downtown. Job Description Job duties include, but are not limited to: Maintain the visual appeal or the hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients and process payments. Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes. Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases. Qualifications We’re looking for: Experienced Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience required Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator Highly organized and possess computer skills Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.
