Job Description

We are working on behalf of a well established small animal hospital in Peachtree City, GA that is looking to add an Associate Veterinarian to a team of five doctors. The practice has served this community for more than forty years and has built the kind of client loyalty that shows up in its reviews and in the number of families who keep coming back. You would be joining a group that treats every patient as their own, supported by an experienced paraprofessional team and by colleagues who are genuinely invested in the standard of medicine practiced here. The caseload is broad, covering preventive wellness, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgery, and emergency management, so there is real scope to build proficiency across several clinical areas rather than narrowing into one. Doctors also have ready access to internal specialty consultations, which means expert guidance is available when a complex case walks through the door. There is a real commitment to development here, with structured mentorship, a yearly CE allowance with paid time to use it, and clear leadership tracks for anyone who wants to grow beyond the exam room. Autonomy is respected: you lead your own patient care and hold your own standards, with the backing of a wider support network rather than the constraints of one. Peachtree City itself is a comfortable place to settle, sitting just south of Atlanta and known for the cart path network that links the whole town together. The pet owning community here is engaged and supportive, which makes for the sort of long term client relationships that are increasingly rare. Key Highlights • Established small animal practice with more than forty years of roots in the community • Join a team of five experienced veterinarians plus a strong paraprofessional support team • Broad caseload spanning wellness, diagnostics, surgery, advanced care, and emergency management • Ready access to internal specialty consultations when complex cases come in • Structured mentorship and clear leadership tracks for anyone wanting to progress • Competitive base salary plus a monthly production bonus with no negative accrual • Yearly CE allowance with dedicated paid CE days • Peachtree City living just south of Atlanta, with miles of cart paths and a supportive pet owning community About You • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent • A valid Georgia license in good standing, or eligibility to obtain one • Committed to practicing a high standard of small animal medicine • Strong communicator who enjoys educating clients and building long term relationships • Collaborative and positive, and happy to contribute to a good hospital culture Benefits • Competitive base salary with monthly production bonus and no negative accrual • Health, dental, and vision insurance, plus 24/7 telehealth access • 401k with a generous company match • Short term and long term disability cover • Yearly CE allowance with dedicated paid CE days • Paid maternity leave • Company paid professional liability coverage • Sign-on bonus and relocation support open to discussion
