We’re looking for a Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our front desk team and help create an exceptional experience from the moment a client walks through our doors. Bayshore Animal Clinic 2812 W Gandy Blvd, Tampa, FL 33611 Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–6:00 PM Saturday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM Sunday: Closed What You'll Be Doing Greet clients and patients with a warm, professional, and compassionate approach Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and manage appointment flow Obtain and update patient medical histories and client information Check clients in and out and process invoices and payments accurately Fill prescriptions and assist with food and over-the-counter product requests Communicate patient needs and client concerns with veterinarians and veterinary technicians Maintain accurate patient records and enter information into veterinary practice management software Assist clients with questions regarding appointments, services, medications, and hospital policies Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area Provide compassionate support to clients during routine visits, emergencies, and end-of-life experiences What We're Looking For Previous veterinary reception, veterinary receptionist, veterinary client service, or veterinary hospital experience preferred but not required  High school diploma or equivalent Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable answering phones and assisting multiple clients in a busy environment Strong computer skills and ability to learn veterinary practice management software Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain professional in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working with dogs, cats, and other companion animals Compassionate, dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn Ability to lift and carry up to 30–50 pounds when needed Why Join Bayshore Animal Clinic? Our dentistry suite has two modern dental units to provide ultrasonic scaling, digital radiographs, and drilling for extractions when needed. Our on-site x-ray and ultrasound equipment enable us to take radiographs of our patients while our clients wait. We offer both abdominal and cardiac ultrasound services and partner with an internal medicine specialist when needed.
