We are seeking a Medical Director to lead a high-performing emergency veterinary clinic in Sarasota. This opportunity offers a leadership role within a collaborative and fast-paced ER environment, ideal for an experienced emergency veterinarian or Lead ER DVM looking to drive clinical excellence while mentoring and growing a strong team. The hospital is a well-established emergency facility focused on delivering advanced emergency and urgent care medicine with a strong emphasis on collaboration, compassion, and clinical quality. The role involves partnering closely with the Practice Manager to support hospital growth, team development, and operational success while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace culture. In this position, the Medical Director will oversee emergency medical services, mentor veterinarians and technicians, guide clinical protocols, maintain relationships with the referring veterinary community, and ensure the highest standards of patient care and client experience. Strong leadership, emotional intelligence, and communication skills are essential to successfully lead and inspire the team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
