Requirements
We are working on behalf of a well-established, highly respected emergency hospital in Sarasota, FL that is looking to welcome a full-time Associate Emergency Veterinarian to its ER team. The hospital has built a strong local reputation as a dependable ER, known for high-quality patient care, great client service, and solid relationships with referring practices. You will work alongside a group of experienced, collaborative emergency doctors and a skilled technician team in a modern facility with an impressive in-house setup, including CT, a full IDEXX lab, blood gas analyzers, a digital slide reader, vessel sealing, PRP and stem cell capability, and a hyperbaric oxygen chamber. The culture is upbeat and supportive, and learning is part of everyday life here. There is hands-on training and mentoring available to help you grow your skills, including endoscopy and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and surgical training is on offer if that is an area you want to develop. Scheduling is built with quality of life in mind. You can choose three 12-hour shifts per week or two 15-hour shifts per week, giving you real time away from the hospital. Compensation includes a competitive base salary, monthly production bonuses with no negative accrual, a sign-on bonus of up to $50,000, and no non-compete agreement, all backed by an extensive benefits package.
