The Veterinary Emergency Referral Center, at 4800 North Davis Highway in Pensacola, is a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital providing emergency vet and veterinary referral services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We pride ourselves on maintaining a highly trained staff of doctors and experienced veterinary technicians. We are an emergency-and referral-only hospital — we do not provide general practice services or sell pet products.

Join the team at the Veterinary Emergency Referral Center, where we are looking for passionate and skilled emergency veterinarians to be part of our highly trained staff! We provide a supportive, collaborative environment and offer a competitive salary with commission-based earnings as well as a comprehensive benefits package. VERC has a very high earning potential due to our high standard of care, exceptional reputation with the referring veterinarian community, and efficient workflow. Our flexible scheduling accommodates both day and night shifts. We currently have board-certified specialists in surgery and neurology. Our state-of-the-art diagnostic facilities include CT, MRI, digital radiography, ultrasonography, fluoroscopy, and an on-site veterinary reference lab. We prioritize patient care and value continual development and teaching with monthly Morbidity and Mortality Rounds and Journal Club.
