Requirements
We are seeking a Veterinary Medical Director to lead a well-established small animal hospital serving the Plantation community. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to combine hands-on clinical practice with leadership responsibilities while guiding a collaborative veterinary team and maintaining high standards of patient care. In this position, you will oversee the medical direction of the hospital while continuing to practice high-quality veterinary medicine. Responsibilities include mentoring associate veterinarians, supporting staff development, establishing clinical protocols, and collaborating with the hospital leadership team to ensure efficient daily operations. The hospital is supported by modern diagnostic technology and an experienced technical team, allowing the Medical Director to focus on both clinical excellence and team leadership. The ideal candidate will hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree and be eligible for veterinary licensure in Florida. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical expertise, leadership abilities, and a passion for fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
