GoodVets is a nationwide community of animal hospitals co-owned with local veterinarians. Sitting at the intersection of quality-first and people-first, GoodVets provides an environment of mentorship for all our employees while also providing the high quality of care and hospitality that today’s pet parents demand.   The Hospital Manager is responsible for owning key financial and performance metrics, while supporting gold standard medicine in partnership with a GoodVets’ Partner Veterinarian. Your role is to drive day-to-day operations and profitability growth of the hospital, all while inspiring and supporting your hospital team. To excel in this role, you will have hands-on experience driving on-site profitability and a keen sense of how to maintain operational excellence. You are focused, action oriented, a go-getter, a master communicator and have the qualities of a great leader. Our Hospital Managers Know: - Pets and Clients Come First! You can manage the flow of appointments and ensure satisfied clients and pets. - Financial Management You can manage and adhere to budget, forecast expenses, manage inventory and understand key performance indicators and P&L’s. - Team Leadership You can hire, supervise, develop, mentor, and inspire others to deliver their best every day to pets, patients and teammates. - Culture & Growth You can drive positive culture in your hospital. Our Hospital Managers Have: - A passion to make a difference in pets and people’s lives. - Minimum of 2 years’ leadership experience building and developing teams to achieve service, operational and financial excellence. - Experience owning key performance indicators as well as profit and loss statements for your location, to identify areas for improvement and ensure practice is consistently hitting its performance targets. - Proven ability to drive profitability growth in clinical settings. - Experience implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures and hospital protocols to maximize productivity and patient satisfaction. - Proven ability to effectively manage, engage, develop and retain a high performing clinical team and effectively manage conflict resolution. - Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with hospital and corporate teams. - Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Practice Management Systems.
