At Ranch Animal Hospital, our Kennel Technicians are an important part of the veterinary team. You’ll help care for hospitalized and boarding pets, maintain a clean and welcoming hospital, and support the doctors, veterinary technicians, and client service team throughout the day. You won't just care for pets here. You'll become part of a team that cares about them, and each other. Schedule and Compensation $16.50–$18.00 per hour, based on experience Consistent Full-Time Schedule:  Tuesday   Thursday   Friday   Saturday  A predictable schedule gives you the stability to build relationships with your teammates, patients, and clients while becoming an integral part of our hospital. What You'll Do As a Kennel Technician, you will help ensure our patients receive exceptional care while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Patient and Boarding Care Hospital Support Be Part of the Team Qualifications & Experience We're looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, compassionate, and ready to be part of a team. You should have: 1+ year of experience in animal care, boarding, kennel operations, veterinary medicine, or a related field preferred   Comfort handling dogs and cats of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments  A strong work ethic and attention to detail   The ability to work efficiently in a busy veterinary environment   A positive, team-oriented attitude   Reliable attendance and punctuality   A genuine passion for caring for animals  Veterinary experience is helpful, but we're equally interested in people who bring the right attitude, work ethic, and desire to learn. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without assistance Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday Comfortable working around animal dander, cleaning products, veterinary chemicals, and varying noise levels Ability to safely handle and restrain animals when necessary What We Offer We're building a team—not simply filling positions.
