A forward thinking veterinary group in McLean, VA is looking for Relief Veterinarians to help cover appointments at its hospital, and we would love to introduce you. This is a membership-based practice that set out to raise the bar for pets, their owners, and the veterinarians who care for them. Members get round the clock telemedicine and clear, upfront pricing, which means fewer surprises in the exam room and more time spent on the medicine itself. The hospital is fully staffed, so you will have a capable support team with you from the first appointment to the last. Shifts are available Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 5pm. Each day includes a protected lunch hour and a separate hour set aside for admin, and appointments are booked at 30 minutes. There is no surgery expectation for relief. You will share the floor with a second doctor on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and on the other days you will run the schedule as the doctor on shift. The group is a Certified B Corporation and Public Benefit Corporation, and looking after its veterinarians is part of its founding charter. They are also looking to hire a permanent veterinarian in the near future, so relief here could easily become something more if the fit is right.
