We presently offer Royal Canin, Hills, and Purina Prescription Diets to meet all of your pet’s nutritional requirements. We also carry flea, tick, and heartworm preventative products. Beyond first-rate pet care, we make our clinic comfortable, kid-friendly, and calm, so your pet can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting with us.

Salem Valley Veterinary Clinic is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Technician to our General Practice team and be a part of our GP surgery team. At our Rarebreed clinic, you can help reimagine the veterinary experience in your community. Salem Valley Veterinary Clinic, located in Salem, CT, is dedicated to their patients and clients wellbeing alike! Our team consists of passionate and highly trained individuals who are passionate about what they do. We are a full functioning hospital that offers specialty dental services, diagnostics, surgery, and general practice. We are a four-doctor, innovative clinic with our General Practice downstairs and Dental Specialty upstairs. We pride ourselves in providing quality medical care and individualized service with the goal of complete customer satisfaction. This position will require a candidate that is team oriented, has a positive attitude, is a clear communicator and who enjoys people as well as their furry family members! We can’t wait to show you what we are all about! https://salemvalleyvet.com/ Veterinary Technician Salem Valley Veterinary Clinic in Salem, CT $23.00-$26.00 an hour (based on experience) WHAT YOU’LL DO Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones Keep accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy Prepare and maintain the exam rooms and treatment areas Perform physical assessments and record your observations Prepare estimates for procedures and discusses financial commitments with clients Explain necessary follow-up and home care instructions Stock clinic treatment area and exam rooms, and inform inventory manager when supplies need to be ordered Assist the Veterinarian in medical, surgical, and dental procedures (be comfortable with blood draws; prepare patients for surgery; administer anesthesia; monitor patients during surgery and recovery; administer fluids) Care for all surgical materials and keep the operating room properly stocked and prepared for surgery Our Comprehensive benefit package includes: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with a total company match up to 4%, after 6 months of employment Generous paid time off and flexible scheduling Continuing education allowance and professional development support Mental Health Resources Company paid bonding leave or applicable state provided bonding leave Perks for Your Pets Too!
