We provide top-of-the-line medical, surgical, and dental equipment, as well as an in-house laboratory and abdominal ultrasonography with visiting clinicians. Your Role – Clinical Driver & Leader As a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), you will be encouraged to work at the top of your license and serve as a clinical leader, ensuring medical excellence with a patient-first mindset. We follow AAHA utilization guidance consistently. You will primarily utilize your skills in: - Anesthesia & Analgesia: Full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and advanced monitoring/recovery. - Dentistry: Full-mouth dental radiography, charting, and periodontal therapy (per DVM direction). - Diagnostics: High-quality radiography/positioning, in-house lab analysis, microscope use for cytology, and sample collection. - Nursing & Triage: Critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes. - Workflow Leadership: Leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs. - Patient Care: Understanding patient needs, patient restraint, vaccines and preventive care, administering injections (SQ, IM, IV), medication administration, client communication, record keeping and follow-up phone calls.
