Clear Creek Animal Hospital is a flourishing small animal hospital established in 2010 in Wheat Ridge, CO. Serving the Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Golden, and West Denver Metro areas, we are located conveniently off I-70 and Kipling. Veterinary Technician Responsibilities: The Veterinary Technicians at our hospital are in charge of patient care under the direction of the veterinarian. A sample of duties include, but are not limited to: Obtaining and charting patient vital functions; updating the doctor and of patient status and changes in condition. Transcribing medical records for the doctor and providing restraint and assistance for outpatient procedures. Monitoring anesthetic cases and assisting the doctor in surgical procedures. Communicate with team members to maximize hospital efficiency. Educate and communicate with clients in a way that expresses our hospital’s core values of compassion, leadership, education, advocacy and reliability. Veterinary Technician Qualifications: Experience in a small animal hospital is our most obvious qualification (1-3 years preferred), but if any of these qualities resonate with you, we should chat right away! You ooze compassion and you know how to communicate with empathy. You’ve ever been referred to as having “leadership potential”.
