We believe your job can be fun and you can feel appreciated for the hard work you put in! Arvada Veterinary Hospital is a four doctor practice that has been serving our community since 1954. At AVH, we are committed to taking care of our patients. We believe we do that best by providing comprehensive, high-quality care with an emphasis on excellent client service. We are seeking a people oriented, dynamic, organized, fun individual to help us be the best. A qualified applicant will be a high school graduate with previous veterinary experience. Some technician schooling is preferred. You must be able to assist in rooms, place IV catheters and draw blood, monitor anesthesia, run lab work and properly restrain pets. Knowledge of Avimark software is a plus. This position does require half day on Saturday 1-2 times monthly. This is a full time position averaging 40 hours a week. Our current hours of operation are: o Mon – Fri: 7am – 5pm o Sat: 9am – 4pm For after-hour emergencies, we currently send clients to Arrowhead Animal Hospital, an emergency hospital in the Suveto hospital network.
