Medical Director Veterinarian Parker, Colorado | Full-Time We’re working with a well-established small animal practice in the Parker area that is looking for an experienced veterinarian to step into a Medical Director role. This is a great opportunity for a doctor who enjoys practicing medicine but also wants a meaningful voice in how the hospital operates, develops its team, and continues to grow. The Opportunity In addition to seeing patients, the Medical Director will help guide the clinical direction of the hospital and work closely with practice leadership on team development, hospital performance, and overall standards of care. Key responsibilities include: Providing clinical leadership and setting consistent medical standards Mentoring and supporting associate veterinarians Helping recruit, develop, and retain DVM talent Partnering with hospital leadership on operations and performance Supporting a positive, collaborative team culture Using clinical and operational data to help guide decisions Continuing to practice high-quality small animal medicine About the Practice The hospital is a small animal general practice serving dogs and cats in the Parker and southeast Denver-area market. The practice operates Monday through Friday, providing a schedule that supports a more predictable workweek while still offering the opportunity to lead and influence the continued development of the hospital. Doctors have access to broader clinical, educational, and operational resources while maintaining the feel and culture of a locally focused practice. Compensation & Benefits The compensation structure includes a competitive base salary plus production, with no negative accrual, along with additional compensation for the Medical Director responsibilities.
