Requirements
Our personally owned, small animal practice is actively looking for a skilled and friendly Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! Our hospital accommodates scheduled appointments, soft tissue surgeries, dental cleanings and some emergency/drop off appointments daily with our two knowledgeable Veterinarians. All of our support staff is skilled in multi-tasking, as we navigate busy days, by helping in the "front" of the hospital with reception (checking appointments in, phones, call backs/emails) and in the "back" of the hospital with restraint, lab work, blood draws, technician appointments and anesthetic procedures. We nurture a family-like atmosphere with our staff, where we all lend a helping hand when necessary to provide our patients with quality, efficient and loving medical care. These consistent values have brought our loyal clientele back through our doors for many generations. As a Technician, we wish for you to be outgoing, friendly, open to learning new things and skilled in venipuncture, animal restraint, anesthesia, dentistry, etc. We are also happy to train new graduates out of school that are excited and willing to become a strong part of our wonderful team! Work schedules generally include 3 (10-11 hour days) and 1 (5-6 hour day) with a full day off during the week. We are not open on Saturdays or Sundays. Technicians generally open AND close our hospital on their full days (7am to 5:30/6pm). With a small team, we do count on each other to be accountable for each shift and will need someone committed to being on time and consistent with their attendance every week! We are a hard working group that put our patient's needs first while also exuding good humor and compassion that get each other through the long days and those moments that are difficult and emotional in veterinary medicine. If you are excited and ready to be part of our efficient team and put your compassionate animal care skills to work, reach out to us today! We truly look forward to talking with you!
