Veterinary Technician (CVT - Treatment) - $5,000 Sign On Bonus

$5,000 Sign On Bonus! Hampden Family Pet Hospital is looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our Treatment team! As a 9-doctor practice, we are an AAHA accredited state of the art facility that provides not only general practice, but also specialists in dermatology, oncology, dentistry, cardiology/radiology, and orthopedics. We utilize laparoscopy, endoscopy, and ultrasonography. We have two digital x-ray machines, as well as digital dental x-ray. We also provide acupuncture and complementary medicine, for clients looking for a more holistic approach. Primary job duties include: Laboratory procedures, providing nursing care to hospitalized patients, IV catheter placement, blood draws, vaccine administration, running anesthesia, rotate in as a scrub and circulating nurse, dental radiographs, dental charting, dental prophy’s, technician appointments, surgical check-in’s and check-outs, and rotating throughout the hospital as needed. Additionally, we are looking for someone who displays the following traits: Certification or equal experience preferred, exceptional customer service, ability to multi-task, detail oriented, team player, and ability to learn quickly. Must be physically able to lift 50 pounds & properly restrain when necessary.
