Requirements
We are a full service, 5 doctor AAHA Accredited, Cat Friendly Certified practice dedicated to fostering a supportive team environment by cross-training our staff to help in each area of the hospital. Our mission is to provide a full range of premium preventative care, diagnostic and treatment services, with a highly skilled staff that works hand-in-hand with our clients to ensure pets receive the best possible care. Our technicians play a vital role in ensuring each client & patient receive the highest standard of care individualized to each patients needs. What to Expect: · We Care About YOUR Mental Health: We understand that working in Veterinary Medicine is not easy and compassion fatigue can take a toll on mental well-being. At Tender Touch, we place a high value on your mental health and are working with a local company to obtain free mental health counseling for our team members. We were part of the pilot and our team LOVED it. They love to celebrate wins big or small. About You: · You are an Experienced Veterinary Technician (capable of running anesthesia). Licensure is not required but would be a HUGE plus. · You possess outstanding client service and excellent patient care. You enjoy working as a team and are able to remain composed during stressful and emotional situations. · You understand that clear, effective communication among clients and team members is a priority. · You are versatile – you know how to effectively adapt to the individual needs of each patient and are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of patients and their families. Anticipated Schedule: · Typically, four 10-hour days with 2 consecutive days off. Compensation: · Starts at $17 and will increase based on experience and skill set.
