We’re looking for a passionate Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our team and help us deliver care that begins with a visit and lasts a lifetime. Join the team that understands that caring for the pets we love starts with greater care for our veterinary Team Members.  What You'll Do: - Set the bar for providing high-level, proficient veterinary medical care. - Use integrated technology to deliver consistent and appropriate medical care. - Patient care (blood transfusion, oxygen cage, cardiac monitoring); dentistry; wound care; catheter placement; anesthesia monitoring (unstable, high-risk patients); and performing functions that require handling animal bodily fluids and tissues. - Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standards of Care (SOC) - Be a PIMS administrative super-user and aid others in their use of the technology.  - Act responsibly given the pharmacy holdings of the practice and keep controlled substance logs. - Clean workspaces after every patient or patient lab sample interaction. - Any other responsibilities as deemed vital within the scope of role.   What You’ll Need: - 5+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician in practice is preferred. - Ability to excel in a collaborative team environment - Strong ability to connect with clients and demonstrate compassion. - Excellent verbal / written communication, observational, and analytical skills. - Comfortable in a fast paced, self-starter environment. - Successful completion of an accredited veterinary technology program and current licensure is required. Physical Job Requirements:  - Standing or walking up to 80% per shift. - Frequently lift up to 50 to 70 pounds using an optional team lift and occasionally lift greater than 70+ pounds using a team lift. - Stand, push, pull, carry, squat, and kneel.
