Job Description

Certified Veterinary Technician The Center for Animal Wellness (TCAW) is a small animal, 3.5 doctor practice located just north of the Santa Fe Art District. We are a mission driven, AAHA accredited hospital with a loyal clientele. Our mission is three-fold: to Advocate for our Patients, Educate our Clients, and Serve Our Community. TCAW is a proud supporter of the PAW Project and worked with Denver City Counsel to ban declawing in Denver city and county. We were also the first business in the city and county of Denver to register as a “Safe Place”, working with the Denver Police Department to provide a safe haven if needed to members of the LGBTQ community, should they feel threatened. We provide full wellness services including dentistry, surgery, digital radiography, cold laser therapy, canine rehabilitation, and work closely with qualified specialists in orthopedics, cardiology and radiology. Must be a quick learner and experience with Avimark is a plus though not a requirement. We are looking for an experienced technician or CVT seeking a stable, long term relationship. The successful candidate will be a friendly, energetic, and compassionate person who can self-motivate and work with a team to deliver exceptional care. While experience is preferred, we are looking for anyone who might be the “right fit”. Job duties include monitoring anesthesia, performing dental prophy procedures, positioning for dental and body radiographs, performing in house lab services, obtaining patient history, venipuncture, medication and vaccine administration, etc. We’re great. Seriously. We would encourage any applicant to speak with any member of our team about our practice culture and check out our reviews on Google. Everybody says it, we mean it. We have worked really hard to build our talented staff and pride ourselves on staying drama/toxin free and promoting a happy, healthy work environment while practicing high quality medicine….for reals!
