Regional Medical Director, Colorado and Arizona

We are searching for a dynamic Regional Medical Director to set the gold standard of care and lead dedicated teams across Colorado and Arizona! This exclusive opportunity focuses on the breath-taking landscapes of Colorado, with coverage also of Arizona. You will be required to travel in this position, so someone with the flexible capabilities would be perfect! Your Key Responsibilities: • Forge robust relationships with Regional Operations Directors, veterinary teams, and hospital managers, fostering unity and implementing best practices that continue to drive hospitals towards success. • Empower doctors to reach new heights by creating development plans, conducting annual reviews, and providing consistent support. Elevate paraprofessional staff through coaching, ensuring the creation of highly competent and efficient teams. • Champion the recruitment and onboarding of veterinarians, ensuring our hospitals boast fully staffed and exceptional teams. Cultivate veterinary leaders and mentors within each hospital to inspire a culture of continuous improvement. • Collaborate with hospital doctor teams to assess and elevate proficiency in medical and surgical skills, client communication, medical charting, and service charging. Conduct quarterly evaluations and drive individual production through strategic planning. • Participate in monthly doctor meetings, directing discussions on best practices, workflow optimizations, and necessary changes to achieve the expected standard of care. Make informed decisions on hospital medicines and uphold the highest standards of patient care. Efficiency in Operations: • Supervise intern and extern programs to ensure a positive learning experience for students. Represent our client at Veterinary Colleges, fostering positive relationships within the community. • Ensure strict compliance with local, state, federal, and DEA regulations, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to ethical and legal standards. • Collaborate with Regional Operations Directors and Doctor teams to prioritize medical equipment and capital expenses. Resolve doctor scheduling conflicts efficiently to maintain seamless operations.
